Middle Eastern investment firms fund US-based Fadel

Another startup raises funding - aims to invest in expansion and growth.

Recently, there have been more and more Middle Eastern venture capital firms, which invest in promising startups, that have looked into other continents for good investment opportunities. Mubadala, the venture capital firm from Abu Dhabi, even announced that it had set up a venture capital investment arm in San Francisco, United States of America. Moreover, well-known venture capital firm Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP), based out of Lebanon, has recently invested in startups from outside of the region as well.

Its most recent investment in the Series B fundraising round of US-based Fadel was joined by fellow Lebanese investment firms B&Y Ventures and Kafalat iSME. We are excited to be working with such a professional and globally minded team of investors," states Tarek Fadel, Founder and CEO of Fadel. "The company has seen significant growth since our first investment round, including building a network of global value-add technology partners, resellers and system integrators.”
