Bridge for Billions partners to launch Al Borg MedTech Accelerator

Accelerator is aimed at full-time entrepreneurs in MENA and Pakistan with expertise in innovation challenges such as diagnosis, medical robotics and 3D printing, healthcare database management, medical IoT, medical AR & VR and medical AI, gamification and genomics.

Bridge for Billions has partnered with Elaj Group, Al Borg Medical Laboratories and Jadara Ventures to launch Al Borg MedTech Accelerator. The new accelerator will connect with ready-to-invest or pilot-ready startups in the medtech sector based in the MENA region and Pakistan. The partnership will offer these startups a four-month incubation program and expert sessions to offer innovative healthcare services at affordable prices.

Al Borg MedTech Accelerator is aimed at full-time entrepreneurs with expertise in innovation challenges such as diagnosis, medical robotics and 3D printing, healthcare database management, medical IoT, medical AR & VR and medical AI, gamification, and genomics. The Accelerator is looking for startups that want to scale-up by partnering up with a leading reference in the medical sector such as Elaj Group, and willing to dedicate 8 hours per week for the duration of the program; and mentors who want to support entrepreneurs through weekly mentoring as they work on their venture.

The accelerator program is equity-free and participants will potentially have investment after graduation from Al Borg Laboratories. Also, the initiative will help these startups to scale in the region, as well as provide legal setup support and the benefit of expertise from Al Borg Facilities & Labs. Entrepreneurs will have weekly sessions and mentorship from experts and the opportunity to connect their startups with investors.

Startups working in medtech, genomics, or AI based in the MENA region or Pakistan can apply until 7 April through this website.

This partnership marks the launch of Bridge for Billions into the MENA region, where the organization is expanding its operations. To this date, Bridge for Billions has supported more than 1,700 entrepreneurs in over 80 countries.
