Could technology disappear in the light of artificial intelligence?

Rand Hindi‘s solution could remove disruption from our lives.

Technology has disrupted our lives. From one device giving us notifications until 10 years ago, we now have an average of 3 connected devices pushing notifications at us. And the only way to deal with them is to manually interact with every device.

This is horrible says Hindi; devices are constantly asking for attention, disrupting us from our activities. And this is only going to get much worse in the next couple of years when the average number of devices each person has is 15. Think Fitbit, smart watches, mobiles, tablets, laptops, smart TV, Amazon Echo, smart fridges, and the list goes on.

The solution is a specific stream of AI: context awareness.

According to Rand Hindi, the solution is a specific stream of AI: context awareness. Because AI advances exponentially, in the next 10 years we will be able to see a significant improvement, to the extent that AI makes technology ubiquitous. So we won’t have to interact with it, giving us more time to do our thing.

We will enter an era where devices no longer disrupt our lives, but actually add value. Listen to Rand Hindi’s proposition here.
