Sheraa activates its $300K seed pool

Aims to continue bolstering growth of early-stage startups.

Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa) has set up a grant pool of $300k to help early-stage startups with proven traction, turn their ideas into significant and sustainable business models.

It has set the money as part of the Seed programme, which it has now officially activated. The intensive program provides startups with customised action plans to help them achieve their success milestones. In addition, they will also provide startups with designated business and leadership coaches for support and guidance for the execution of the devised plan.

Entrepreneurs will receive training to optimise their product-market fit roadmap (PMF Roadmap), revise and activate market strategy, implement a “post-traction pre-PMF” product iteration, run their post-traction product launch campaign, and activate their investor relations and seed fundraising strategy. In addition, Sheraa will also connect the startups with investment partners.

Such programmes are the foundations many entrepreneurs and startups need to turn good ideas into the next big thing, as well as strengthen the long term economy of countries.

UAE is no doubt planning ahead, and with more of these programmes being set-up, we’ll no doubt see more entrepreneurs set up shop in the country. Read more about Sheraa’s programme here.
