Meet the 5 startups chosen by Saudi’s Badir Accelerator

They stood out from a pool of 350 applicants.

Saudi Arabia, like other countries in the Middle East, has increasingly been supportive of its start-up ecosystem, with new initiatives to support entrepreneurs and venture capital firms alike. Recently, the world-renowned venture capital firm 500 Startups entered into a collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s MiSK Foundation to start their own accelerator in Riyadh, another sign of the progression of the Kingdom.

Badir, another well-known established accelerator in the King Abdullah City for Science and Technology (KACST), has recently announced that it had selected 5 start-ups for its accelerator programme, which is to start in January 2019. The lucky start-ups selected from a total of 350 applications, will receive top-notch training, workshops, business offices and legal advice as part of the rigorous program. Learn more about what the Badir programme has to offer, as well as its new intake, here.
