Applying Mindfulness at Work
SME10x has partnered with Cigna to host a series wellness online sessions with global experts in each field. The first in the session is on Mindfulness with Dominic Watts on Wednesday, 20 May at 10 am Dubai time.
As the current situation prompts change across industries and urges business owners to remodel their companies, it is important for business leaders to consider the mental health of their employees, while ensuring they are provided with resources to adjust to the new normal. With working from home is becoming the norm, employees stand a chance to face increased emotional and psychological stress triggered by several factors.
The session with Dominic Watts will help both employers and employees look at how to harness the ancient wisdom of Mindfullness to better cope with the tribulations of the current pandemic and the “new normal” in a business life.
Dominic Watts is a Mindfulness Trainer & Holistic Tutor. He works with the free spirit project to guide people to properly embrace Mindfulness practice to benefit from it personally, socially, academically and as families. His work focuses on helping others to flourish in their lives by seeking to understand themselves and their way of being in the world, using simple, enjoyable and direct inquiry to teach Mindfulness to people of all ages.
