Elevate Your Entrepreneurial Dreams: AED 2 Million Up for Grabs in UAE's Graduate Fund Challenge
To enhance the entrepreneurial skills of Emirati university students and graduates, the Ministry of Education has introduced the Entrepreneurship Challenge under the Graduate Fund. Aligned with the 'Projects of the 50' initiatives, the program aims to excel UAE's developmental path and the national economic ecosystem.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, expressed the ministry's commitment to nurturing and qualifying talented Emirati individuals. He emphasised the importance of boosting innovation and creativity among the youth, enabling them to transform their ideas into successful ventures and contributing to the UAE's global standing in the Global Entrepreneurship Index.
The Entrepreneurship Challenge, the flagship initiative of the Graduate Fund, targets UAE nationals aged 18 to 35, encompassing both university students with entrepreneurial aspirations and young entrepreneurs and SME founders seeking business growth opportunities.
Participants stand a chance to win prizes totalling up to AED 2 million, distributed among 12 Emirati winners. Beyond the monetary rewards, successful participants will gain access to advanced incubator and accelerator programs. Additionally, they will benefit from personalised mentoring and coaching sessions, facilitating efficient management and expansion of their businesses.
The challenge marks the inauguration of the Graduate Fund, supported by the Ministry of Education, with a broader vision to instill entrepreneurial thinking across the nation. The initiative aims to empower present and future Emirati entrepreneurs to explore their potential, shape their destinies, and transform their dreams into reality through various programs and initiatives.
Prospective participants, university students, and young graduates with entrepreneurial ambitions can submit their applications through the official website until the application period concludes on May 1, 2024.
