Cloud adoption to offer nearly 32,000 job opportunities

The competition in the cloud space has intensified a lot over the last few years. International heavyweights like Amazon, IBM, Google and Microsoft have thrown their weight behind their cloud solutions, and are aggressively promoting them. It started in the Americas and Europe, but the Middle East is seeing accelerated adoption more and more. It is expected that spending on public cloud services in the Emirates will quadruple over the next four years, indicating strong growth in cloud adoption.

Not only are cloud solutions very easy, they also create a lot of jobs, both directly and indirectly. It is expected that the cloud will create nearly 32,000 jobs in the UAE alone, between 2017 and 2022, which offers many opportunities for high-tech employment. This is part of the push by the UAE government to become the tech hub in the Middle East, and lure highly qualified tech personnel to its cities.
