Adobe's AI Art to boost Google's Bard

Top story from the world of tech: Adobe’s Firefly will now be directly accessible to Google’s Bard AI users making generative AI commercially viable to millions of creators and creative businesses worldwide...

In a groundbreaking move for the world of AI, Adobe and Google announced on May 10th during the 2023 I/O event that their respective technologies, Firefly and the Express graphics suite, will soon be integrated into Bard. This integration will allow Bard users to generate, edit, and share AI images directly from the chatbot's command line, catapulting Bard to the forefront of innovation alongside other significant players like ChatGPT and Bing-ified.

Firefly's edge over other AI generative tools lies in its training on hundreds of millions of licensed professional-grade images in Adobe Stock, openly licensed content, and public domain content where the copyright has expired. Within a month of its release, photographers, videographers, and other users have generated over 70 million images using Firefly, as stated by the company.

The integration between Firefly and Bard is further bolstered by the open-source technology powering the Content Authenticity Initiative, whose membership has now exceeded 1,000 with the addition of new members such as Universal Music Group, Stability AI, and Spawning.ai.

This partnership between Google and Adobe will undoubtedly provide a much-needed boost to Bard's AI assistant, offering users a unique experience, especially creators.

Generative AI has captured the world's attention and changed how we think about collaboration and productivity. We're thrilled to partner with Adobe Firefly, giving our users the power to bring their creative ideas to life quickly and easily — directly in Bard.

For businesses, this partnership is a significant development that is sure to have a profound impact on their productivity, as now they can create high-quality images at the speed of light.

Moreover, this automation of images will allow them to focus more on the other aspects of operations, as it will not only save their time but also valuable resources.

This announcement marks a monumental step in the AI landscape, cementing Bard's position as a trailblazer in the industry and providing exciting possibilities for creators and innovators alike, by bringing their creative ideas to life.
