Fetchr looks to raise a multi-million dollar funding round in 2019

Talks about launching its Series C round this year.

There are a few startups in the Middle East that stand out and are often referred to as success stories by investors and entrepreneurs alike. Often, these startups are from Dubai, as the city is the go-to destination for entrepreneurs and investors, with a large corporate hub, a diverse working population and attractive regulation. Examples of these startups are Careem, the ride-hailing startup, and Fetchr, the logistics and delivery company. To date, Fetchr has raised more than $50M from both regional and international investors, and is looking to raise more.

Fetchr will launch its Series C fundraising this year, which will be substantially bigger than its previous round according to Tariq Sanad, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Fetchr. "We last raised our Series B in 2017 with a total of $41 million [Dh150.5 million] and our next round will be considerably bigger and it will be this year. We have been focusing on whom we want to bring onboard and how that is going to help Fetchr".
