The Middle East still has the best project opportunities worldwide

The Middle East has always been known for its extravagant projects, from building like the Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab in the UAE to entire cities being planned, such as Neom in Saudi Arabia, there are always projects that are highly ambitious and forward-looking.

With the national economic agendas of each respective country, such as the Vision 2030 in Saudi Arabia, there are many more projects that are currently going on, some of which you might not even have heard of due to the large amount of initiatives and news surrounding those initiatives – at a certain point, it drowns in the large amount of information that is available.

However, according to Technical Review Middle East, the Gulf region still boasts some of the best project opportunities in the world, especially in the real estate and infrastructure industries. “There are huge opportunities in the region and it is just a reassessment of how we plan for those and how we deliver them. We need to evaluate the return on investment for these assets,” said Deloitte Middle East.
