RAKEZ & CUD sign MoU to foster entrepreneurship

Youth to benefit from a student incubator initiative.

The Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) Academic Zone is the latest in line to support youth entrepreneurship, through its partnership with the Canadian University of Dubai (CUD). The entities signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on a series of initiatives to encourage entrepreneurship among the youth in the UAE.

Brian Banford, Chief Advancement Officer of CUD, who was present at the signing ceremony, commented on the collaboration as being extremely significant to the future economy of the UAE. In addition to inspiring the younger generation to start and lead their own businesses, RAKEZ and CUD plan to launch a student incubator initiative, conduct guest lectures, as well as support student growth through internships.
