Intelak’s 5th cohort concludes

Intelak’s aviation, travel and tourism focused incubator programme saw its fifth cohort pitch to investors. The Demo Day was celebrated with Iftar, as the cohort concluded the programme and pitches.

Since its inception in 2016, the incubator has supported its winning startups with AED 1 million in seed funding without any equity share. This time, its fifth cohort marked the first time when international startups were invited to launch businesses in Dubai.

The four winning startups of Intelak’s fifth cohort included:

• Avendi: A chatbot that shares quality suggestions with travellers to Dubai

• Bonflite: Offers an “Amazon of the Sky” solution for air travellers to purchase and collect duty-free items in a hassle-free environment at any point throughout their travel itinerary

• Cargonow: Solves the problem of manual and tedious booking processes, outdated prices or lack of visibility within the delivery process of logistics transportation.

• Hotel Data Cloud: Helps hotels win back control of the descriptive content of their listings by establishing a globally consistent standard with automated distribution to all channels.
