Held at the Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the event focused on the power of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to build sustainable economies and the opportunity this presents through the impact of broadband connectivity and information and communication technology (ICT). Guest speaker Dr. Eesa Bastaki, CEO of the TRA ICT Fund, shared insights on the initiatives the UAE government is undertaking to foster the growth of SMEs in the UAE.

“A significant economic force in the UAE lies across small and medium-sized enterprises.
