GCC’s First AI-Powered HSEQ Platform Is Here

Dubai-based HITEK AI has introduced a new AI-powered HSEQ management platform called SafeNexus.ai, designed specifically for businesses and consultants operating across the GCC.

For many SMEs in the region, health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) processes are still handled through spreadsheets, paperwork, and disconnected systems. While larger enterprises may have access to expensive global software platforms, smaller businesses often rely on consultants to manage compliance and safety operations manually.

HITEK AI says this gap in the market is what led to the development of SafeNexus.ai.

Unlike many international HSEQ platforms that are built around Western compliance systems, SafeNexus.ai has been tailored for GCC regulations and workplace requirements. The platform supports frameworks such as TRAKHEES in Dubai, OSHAD in Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development safety standards, as well as international certifications like ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

The platform is available in both Arabic and English, allowing teams across different workforce environments to use it comfortably in their preferred language.

According to Javeria Aijaz, many businesses in the region are facing increasing compliance pressure while still depending on outdated systems for safety management.

“The GCC HSEQ market is at an inflection point. Regulators are tightening compliance requirements, enterprises are scaling rapidly, and yet the majority of safety management is still happening on paper and in spreadsheets,” she said.

Industry projections estimate that the GCC Environmental Health and Safety market could reach US$500 million by 2030, driven by infrastructure growth in Saudi Arabia, stricter regulations across the UAE and the wider GCC, and increasing ESG reporting requirements from investors.

HITEK AI also points to research showing that more than 70 percent of GCC businesses with fewer than 500 employees still manage HSEQ operations manually. Instead of targeting these companies directly, SafeNexus.ai plans to work through HSEQ consulting firms that already manage compliance for SMEs.

The platform combines several HSEQ functions into one cloud-based system, including incident reporting, permit-to-work management, audits and inspections, compliance tracking, risk assessments, and employee training management.

One of the main features of SafeNexus.ai is its white-label model. Rather than competing with HSEQ consultants, the company allows consulting firms to rebrand and resell the platform under their own name, logo, and domain.

For consultants, this creates an additional revenue opportunity without requiring them to invest in building their own software infrastructure.

Ryan Mitchell said the goal is to help consultants scale their operations while maintaining ownership of their client relationships.

“We are not building a platform to compete with HSEQ consultants. We are building the technology infrastructure that makes them more competitive, more scalable, and more profitable,” he said.

The platform itself is built on SAFETEK, HITEK AI’s existing HSEQ technology already being used internally across the Farnek Group workforce and by third-party clients including IKEA Saudi Arabia, Mashreq Bank, Dubai Police, and Expo City Dubai.

HITEK AI is currently inviting GCC-based HSEQ consulting firms to join its Founding Partner Programme, which includes onboarding support, commercial incentives, and co-branded marketing opportunities.
